Job Description 
A Private Family in New York seeks experienced live-Out Domestic Couple. This position is based in New York, NY but will require travel between other residences. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Providing hands-on housekeeping including all aspects of general and deep cleaning
  • Laundry and ironing clothing and home linens; care for fine garments; travel packing/unpacking, etc.
  • Maintaining home for guest readiness at all times
  • Preparing and serving to principals and guests
  • Liaising with and overseeing vendors and contractors
  • Vehicle care; engine oil check, service scheduling and insurance/registration upkeep 
  • General handyman & groundskeeping services, facilities/home maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining household inventories; supply procurement including grocery shopping
  • Cooking for the principals as requested
  • Driving the principals (primarily to-and-from Westchester NY)
  • Assisting with pet care and plant care
  • Traveling in-between residences as needed
  • Handling special requests and related duties 
This is a full-time, live-out position. Schedule flexibility is required. Salary is DOE. 
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience each working in a private estate or as Domestic Couple
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience supervising household staff and working with service staff and other outside vendors
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team, "hands on" 
  • Excellent references from both current and previous employers
  • Great culinary skills; ability to prepare meals and serve events and dinners as needed
  • Okay with children and pets (no allergies); comfortable working around animals
  • Flexible scheduling with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport
  • Valid United States work authorization
