Job Description


A family is seeking a live-out lead educational caregiver to assist in the daily care of their children. There are four children in this family, ranging from 2 year old through 9 years old but there are multiple nannies and staff members working as a team to care for them all. You can expect to work Monday through Friday from 7:30am-6:30pm. This person must have a love for children, a passion for education, the ability to create an environment- beyond the hours of school- that provides structure without boredom and continues to cultivate a love for learning through play, art, reading, writing, and many other creative outlets. Responsibilities will include all aspects of childcare while creating and safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment- ensuring the safety of the children at all times, planning educational and recreational activities, light snack prep, structure children's day-to-day schedule, maintain a constant line of communication with the parents and other staff members, attend school functions with opportunities for professional development, and creating a dialogue with the children's teachers to support and further learning at home.  You must have excellent professional references, a teaching, childcare, or child psychology background, and CPR and first aide certification.
