Job Description
 
Private family seeks an energetic, Weekend Nanny (Friday evening to Sunday nightto care for and supervise their infant. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
 
  • Taking full responsibility for the infant
  • Providing a stimulating environment to enhance the basic development skills  
  • Overseeing all daily aspects ohygiene, eating, playtime, and care
  • Maintaining a constant line of communication and reporting to the parents.
  • Shopping for infant and household items as requested
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks
  • Assisting with the laundry
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, infant’s bedrooms, and play areas
  • Exercising common-sense decision-making skills and the ability to take initiative 
  • Assisting in preparing toddler for travel and traveling with the family as needed
 
This is a live-in weekend (Friday evening to Sunday night) position salary depends on experience
 
Requirements
 
  • Upbeat, positive and pleasant personality
  • A team player, able to pitch in as needed; hard worker, honest and punctual
  • Patient, tolerant and understanding with the infant
  • Certificate in ­­­­­­­­­­­­CPR (infant and child) from accredited program as well as general knowledge of first aid
  • 4-year degree from accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years related private home experience
  • Excellent references from both current and previous employers
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluency in English, additional language skills (Spanish) a plus
  • Valid United States work authorization
