Job Description 
Private family seeks experienced live-out Nanny to assist with the care of their infant. The chosen candidate should be able to anticipate proactively the needs for the children and family. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Providing all aspects of childcare while creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment 
  • Light tidying up after the child’s play areas, including laundry for the child
  • Exercise common sense and can take initiative in order to accomplish tasks and make decisions
  • Taking child to and from appointments and activities
  • Ensuring the safety of the child at all times
  • Planning educational & recreational activities
  • Coordinating child’s play-dates, field trips & extracurricular activities
  • Manage child’s day-to-day schedule
  • Packing and unpacking child’s belongings as needed
  • Traveling with family if requested
  • Maintain a constant line of communication and reporting to the parents
  • Running errands and procuring supplies for the household and child as needed
This is a full-time, live-out position. Typical schedule would be Monday-Thursday, with additional hours as needed. Salary generous but DOE. 
  • Minimum 5 years related experience working for private residences with children
  • Excellent references required from current and previous employers
  • Academic Teaching, Childcare, Child Psychology background is a plus
  • Certification in CPR & First Aid 
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Polished, poised, and professional
  • Loyal, discreet and sagacious
  • Intelligent with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Good swimming abilities
  • Flexibility in schedule as needed
  • Valid United States work authorization
