Job Description

A lovely family based in Easton, CT seeks to hire a dedicated Family Assistant to assist with managing the 24/7 care for an active and happy young adult with autism. This is an incredible opportunity to be a valued and long-term member of the family team and make a true difference in their lives. The Family Assistant will also foster the young adult's evolving interests, including music, yoga, and art, while helping to create and nurture new communities for the young adult to grow and thrive. Additional responsibilities will include collaborating with parents and therapists, appointment scheduling and calendar management, driving and accompanying the young adult to daily activities, and preparing nutritious meals. For the right candidate, this role could also provide opportunities to make a broader impact through autism related initiatives and foundation development.

Coursework or studies in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and a four-year degree preferred. An advanced degree and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is a plus.

This is a full-time position and requires overnights, six weeks or more of annual travel (including to a Florida residence), and schedule flexibility.
