Executive family with multiple residences is seeking a very detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to maintain their large Bay Area residence. The family appreciates the very high standards of cleanliness, organization, and service.
Our client will relocate the ideal candidate from anywhere in the world if they are authorized to work legally in the United States. Generous relocation package offered.
This will be an exciting position for the candidate who is chosen!
-Additional help may be required when hosting guests or entertaining.
-May be required to work extra hours or to be flexible with schedule.
-Start Date: ASAP
-Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
-Responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence. Charged with overseeing and/or performing all household cleaning, inventory, scheduling and supervision of all vendors. Knowledgeable of all household systems and procedures, and serves as the primary point of contact for principal and all visitors.
-Perform all housekeeping for residence, including daily tasks and weekly deep cleaning-this is a hands-on position!
-Supervise the work of auxiliary housekeepers
-Create a housekeeping schedule, detailing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal work to be performed
-Ensure that residence is always “Guest Ready”
-Organize and maintain all household inventories
-Responsible for the care and upkeep of principal’s closet and clothing needs
-Maintain communication with Estate Manager to make aware of any concerns or issues within the home
-Make recommendations for any changes needed in regard to service providers or physical environment
-3+ years of experience in a private home
-Authorized to work legally in the US
-Must be able to speak and write fluently in English
-Must possess a valid US Driver’s license
-Excellent longevity in past positions (3+ years in recent positions strongly preferred)
-Excellent references from past employers
-Experience in the hands-on cleaning of a large home
-Understanding of household systems and appliances, including routine maintenance and upkeep needs
-Professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions with principal, guests, family, and on-site contract workers
-Ability to safely lift 50lbs
-Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and access low surfaces
-Comfortable using household systems such as vacuum cleaner, lighting, and security systems
-Successful completion of thorough background investigation
