Full-time Chauffeur/Driver is needed for a couple that divides their time between residences in Los Angeles and LaJolla. Candidates must live either in the San Diego or Los Angeles areas and accommodations will be provided in the area that they do not have their own home. Otherwise, no relocations will be considered.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Drive Employer and family members and guests, as needed
-Check the automobiles to ensure that they are in top condition at all times
-Keep all vehicles meticulously clean, gassed and stocked with water, gum, pen & paper, music, snacks etc.
.-Open doors for passengers as they board the car and ensure that they are comfortable and safe during the entire journey.
-Assist passengers to alight safely at their destination.
-Ensure that automobiles are taken in for service/repairs whenever need arises.
-Anticipate needs of Employer, family and guests for their arrival and while in residence
-Run errands as directed by the Employer and Employer’s office team
-Courteously, efficiently and accurately handling of phones, gates, messages, mail and deliveries.
-Deliver packages – Fed Ex, “by hand”, etc.
-Maintain bicycles – wipe down, put air in tires, oil chains and ensure that all accessories are properly maintained and stored
-Coordinate safety and security concerns with security personnel and Employer’s office team
-Interact with Employer’s office staff, as needed

Skills and specifications include but are not limited to:
-Excellent knowledge of the roadways in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties.
-Good understanding of protocol in some areas of operations -- i.e., airports.
-Possession of a valid and clean driving license.
-Polished, professional and discreet
-Related experience and expertise in a similar position
-Appreciation of the care of fine automobiles
-Meticulous personal grooming standards
-Courteous and attentive demeanor with ongoing understanding of professional boundaries
-Honest and responsible in character
-Non-smoking and non-drug using individual
-Able to pass a complete security background check
-Legally able to work in the US

The Chauffeur will generally be on duty for 5 days per week and have an attitude that puts the Employer's needs at a premium. The reality of this type of position is that the hours can vary significantly from week to week, but are not extreme because a safe driver is a sufficiently rested driver.
