Gourmet Cook and House Manager/Housekeeper Couple

Family is seeking to hire a live in professional gourmet cook and housekeeper/house manager couple to work in a large home in Weston CT and in Wellington FL during the winter months. Both must be fluent in English, drive, be energetic and have pleasant , neat and professional appearances. A wonderful attitude is a must! They must be extremely flexible for holidays and travel and willing to work long hours whenever necessary. They must like and be able to care for our three small dogs. Although child care will be very limited, they must love children and be willing to pitch in whenever necessary. They must be non smoking and in good health. They must be team players who work well with family and staff with a warm and friendly yet professional attitude. We run our home like a five star hotel.
The couple will be provided with a very comfortable modern apartment on the property. They will also have use of a car. Health benefits are available after three months. Five day work week with 2 weeks vacation.
The cook must have excellent skills and a large varied repertoire of recipes. Must be able to easily cook for dinner parties of up to 12 people plus children and staff. Cook will be responsible for planning, purchasing and cooking all meals. Cook must be very organized, neat and be able to keep kitchen immaculate. Cook will also be responsible for inventory of silverware, flatware, dish and glassware. The house manager/housekeeper must be a hands on housekeeper. Responsibilities will include staff scheduling, service calls, organizing clothing, shoes and accessories, packing, record keeping and dog care. They must be able to arrange flowers and set up entertaining areas and guest rooms. Both should be experienced in formal entertaining.
