Professional working couple is in need of an experienced and energetic (preferably male) Estate Manager to start ASAP. The EM would manage a 13,700 sq ft house as well as the other household staff (housekeepers, houseman, nanny etc.) and would need to be capable and experienced in a fast-paced environment. Organization, speed and flexibility is a must. The EM's daily schedule is 9am-6pm M-F with weekends off. Since the family's current EM is leaving, the new EM will not receive training and will need to be self-reliant and patient in learning how to properly manage the estate. This is a long-term position that the EM will grow into and he/she needs to be a fast learner who can lead and work hard and smart without direction. The family's last EM was with them for 10 years, but we hope to find the principals an EM who will be with them even longer.

This position is ideal for those who thrive and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced environment. The couple's daily schedules are run on Microsoft Office so it's mandatory that the EM be very skilled and familiar with MO and have excellent verbal and written skills. Spanish speaking is a plus but not mandatory. In addition to having experience as an EM, one of the most important skills is a positive, upbeat and pleasant attitude. The EM needs to be an example to the other household staff by setting a high standard of excellence and hard work with a great attitude.

Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

*Coordination of household and servicing of principals and guests
*Oversight of household staff including hiring, training, firing, payroll assistance and performance reviews
*Engagement and supervision of outside contractors, service providers and suppliers
*Write household manuals and policy documents for principals’ approval
*Manage household projects
*Creating, maintaining and implementing schedules for monthly, seasonal, bi-annual and annual maintenance for the interior of the estate and addressing all maintenance issues immediately and appropriately to ensure smooth operations
*Overall security and communication systems and record keeping
*Regular interaction with principals to maintain direct communication and compliance within their needs
*Encourage and maintain efficiency, harmony, and morale throughout the household
*Assist in organization and orchestration of social and family events
*Reception of guests
*Catalog of wines
*Maintain inventory of fine silver, china, antiques, and other household and estate items
*Arranging appointments for personal and professional needs
*Completing any other requested administrative tasks
*Enforcing the dress code and purchasing uniforms
*Hold daily meetings with employees

Other Responsibilities:
*Flexible to travel when needed
*Coordination of schedules among staff
*Occasional driving/chauffeuring the principals
*House and pet sitting
